I’m watching two teams that I can’t stand - San Diego at Denver - because the pain of watching the 49ers just became too much for me to bear any longer. That offense should be executed, or at least banned from television coverage.
Speaking of coverage, John Lynch is always exciting to watch, I find. Part of it has to do with the fact that I am pretty sure he is a close cousin of Rex Grossman - those pointy eyebrows and beady eyes come from a recessive gene that is particularly rare. That they both made it to the NFL merely serves to confirm my suspicions.
Another thing that makes me feel a comraderie with Lynch is that his cousinhood to Rex, coupled with his extremely long and illustrious career of violence, probably makes Rex feel bad about his own poor career. I don’t know why that makes happy. I’m probably just a bad person, deep inside.
Wow! The Niners scored. On a passing play!! I’m switching back as soon as I find that bandwagon I just jumped off.
Normally, I don’t do the bandwagon thing, but today…get this…Iron Maiden is playing. No way I am missing that show, they’re going to play The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner at half-time!

It could be worse, they could have the Minnesota offense.

With that extra 110 yards per game, that would not be such a bad thing.
