In a game that the Arena Football League prognosticators were having a hard time picking a winner, the Cleveland Gladiators garnered a 61-49 win over the visiting New York Dragons to get to 1-0 on the season. At the time of this writing, another close game to call just finished between the San Jose SaberCats and the home Chicago Rush, with the Rush winning big, 70-47. The Yardstick had called for the Rush to win a closer game, and for the Dragons to squeak out a close win.
