The first 2008 NFL regular season fantasy game at FanJack is now live! It looks pretty cool and is called a PowerStat Challenge. It costs $5 per game and you basically pick which team you think will attain you the most points in up to five categories: Passing TDs and Yards, Rushing TDs and Yards, and Kicking points.
The points you attain are as such:
Passing TDs = 6 points for each TD
Rushing TDs = 6 points for each TD
Receiving yards = 1 point for every 20 yards
Rushing yards = 1 point for every 20 yards
Kicking = 3 points for each FG + 1 point for each PAT MINUS 1 point for any missed FG or PAT
Depending upon the number of people to pick the game you have chosen, there will be between two and 19 people in each league. Win the league and win the prize for that game, in this case $37.50.
You can deposit using a credit card or PayPal, and the game has been structured in a way to ensure it meets all legal requirements for a pay-for-play format as outlined in the UIGEA (Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act).
FanYard is proud to be associated with FanJack, and hopes you will enjoy these games, as they’ll make your football watching experience so-oo much more fun, and make you a bit of money, too - if you know your stuff!
