When I got up this morning and went onto FanYard, I saw some more great work was finished and had gone live. There are now expanded profiles for all you FanYard community members. You can add a write-up about yourself as well as plug in your favorite teams in each sport. Very cool. Something like what GUNGHO-GUY wrote about himself in his Yard really adds a lot of value for other members when they come to visit you.
You’ll also notice, in your Score Card in your Yard, that your scores from previous years are shown along with your progress this far in the current season. Some of you will also have trophies present in your Score Card beside previous results if your picking warranted such an honour.
Your Yard also now shows how long you have been a member of FanYard. Very cool.
Don’t forget that college football starts tomorrow. In a game that intrigues me for some reason, I see that Temple is favored on the Yardstick for their game against ARMY at West Point. Right now, they are favored to win by three points. Maybe they will, but recent history would suggest not. In their last 20 road games, dating back to September 2005, the Temple Owls have lost all but one. At home, even, they’ve gone just 6-14 in the past 20 games. Mind you, ARMY is only 8-12 at home over the same stretch, but still…Temple has scored 3 or fewer points in 9 of their past 40 games. Go underdogs!!
