In no particular order, I’m writing down my Top 10 NFL questions that I’m interested in regarding the upcoming 2009 NFL season. Not all the questions are as serious as others. Later, in separate posts, I’ll discuss the questions one-by-one. They came to me as I was watching the 2008 Week 2 game between the Chargers and the Broncos; the game that Ed Hochuli screwed up.
That brings me to my first question:
1) What is going to happen with Jay Cutler and the Broncos?
2) Will Andy Reid leave the Eagles to finally deal with the Reid family issues? If not, will he explode on the sidelines after one more too many turkeys for breakfast?
3) Now that the Bills have contracted cancer, how will Trent Edwards and the rest of the team fare with Terrell Owens on the roster?
4) Is Tom Brady still going to bring his magic touch to the Patriots?
5) Can the Cardinals maintain the momentum they gained with their run through the NFC to their near-win in Super Bowl XLIII?
6) Will the Cowboys be a playoff team now that Jerry Jones has removed the cancer known as TO?

Only 'The Cancer' makes it into two of my top ten questions for the 2009 NFL season. Here he is, above, once again outrunning his welcome in an NFL city.
7) How long will it take for the Detroit Lions to win another NFL game?
Will Mike Singletary and the San Francisco 49ers have a new quarterback, or will they give Shaun Hill, with a 7-3 starting record, the chance to start? Forget Alex Smith.
9) Which NFL teams will rise from the ashes of the 2008 NFL season to claim the top spot in their divisions in 2009 and, conversely, which teams will fall from grace?
10) Which NFL team will Brett Favre say he’d like to play for if they could work out a contract when he decides he wants to unretire again?
There you have it. Obviously, the answers to some of these are multi-level. The Cutler question, for example, could involve discussions of Cutler’s possible over-reactions as well as any possible trades and whether or not McDaniels overstepped his allowable boundaries in his dealings with the young quarterback.
Anyway, I hope to see some discussion here as I get back on board this blog horse again!
